Early offense calls are verbs that take us from the break into a hitter.
- Pop (Core) -- early offense to run a hitter from the wing. Example : come out in horns; one horn sets a pin-down for the other; pop into the stagger, an alphabet play, a 3-man off-ball action or a motion.
- Kick -- early offense to run a hitter from the top.
- Lift -- early offense to run a hitter from the corner (or 3 series).
- Older verbs (Punch, Push, Hook, Go; Kick as a drag screen top to wing): Part III.
